Student/CC members are members who are 18+ and whom are enrolled full-time in tirtiary education of any kind (including workforce development) OR have a current Community Card. These members recieve the same benefits as a Full Member, but at a discounted rate. You must submit your proof of enrollment or shop proof of a current Community Card in order to claim this discount.

• Student/CC member pricing is a low flat fee for either Full or Professional Membership and includes all of the same benefits as the selected membership tier.

Limited Scholarships are available for memberships. To inquire about current scholarship availability, including our Māori creators scholarship, please use the Scholarship Application Form. Scholarships may be granted for the following reasons: 

• Hardship

• Rainbow Community Member (excluding allys)

• Disability

• Tangata Whenua (Māori)

• Pacefika Heritage

Individuals can apply for scholarships for the following membership levels, if they would already qualify for that membership level regardless of a scholarship:

• Junior Members 

• Student Member

• Full Member

• Pro Member

Please note: scholarships are only available to those currently residing in Aotearoa New Zealand. Scholarships are open until filled, and re-open one year after filled status expires. Please see our scholarships page for more details.

Honorary Full Members are whom meet the Full or Student membership standards and have provided significant support to Indie Comic Creators of Aotearoa through volunteerism. This memberships last 365 days (1 year) from the date in which the member is granted Honorary Full Membership. Honorary Full Membership is granted via vote at a general meeting of the board. All Full Members, Pro Members and Lifetime Pro Members have the ability to vote in general meetings.

Honorary Full members receive all the same membership benefits as Full Members, without the cost. This includes:

This memberships last 365 days (1 year) from the date in which the member is granted Honorary Pro Membership. Honorary Pro Membership is granted via vote at a general meeting of the board. All Full Members, Pro Members and Lifetime Pro Members have the ability to vote in general meetings.

Lifetime Pro Members are members who meet the Professional Membership standards and have provided oustanding support to Indie Comic Creators of Aotearoa through either financially or through volunteerism, or have made a significant contribution to the advancement of indie comics in Aotearoa. Lifetime Pro Membership is granted via vote at a general meeting of the board and lasts for the lifetime of the member*.

Honorary Pro members receive all the same membership benefits as Full Members, without the cost. This includes:
